Poconos country-style wedding celebration! Church & Outdoors. Rustic. Family-oriented.
Julianne and Anthony are some of the most cordial, polished, grateful and thoughtful clients I have encountered. They love to smile and are infectiously in love with each other. Their story started a the University of Florida where they met through mutual friends at a bank where they both worked, and they were later transferred to NYC together as if by divine intervention. They have lived together in Hoboken for three years and the rest is history. He later proposed to her on the 59th Street Queensboro Bridge in New York.
Anthony never once stopped smiling at Julianne during their church ceremony. It is clear her admires her greatly and they both cannot wait to spend forever together. The scenery was beautiful, it truly couldn’t have been more picture-perfect. After the church ceremony, they did a country-traditional pick up truck getaway car, and they both screamed as the car took off. These photos were so fun to capture! Creative portraits took place alongside the Delaware Water Gap in the Poconos Mountains of PA, which is very literally a part of Anthony’s childhood home. The surrounding greenery was so colorful and welcoming.
Julianne wore a sophisticated and elegant lace a-line dress that was perfectly her by Lillian West, with trendy bracelet’s and decorative rings by Shashi. What stood out and was so unique about their day was how many family members showed up to the church ceremony; it is clear they both have close-knit families that love them very much. Their catered dinners included some of my favorite back-home comfort foods - pulled pork BBQ sandwhiches, grilled corn, and biscuits prepared by Chef on the Run. Ten different family members insisted I stay for dinner, and well, that was an offer I could not refuse! I had a blast covering your Poconos Country wedding day. It is a day we will never forget - regardless of the 95 degree heat and 90% humidity lol. They were troopers!
Congratulations are in order to this passionate and fun-loving couple! May your laughter always be heard from miles away and may you feel your love grow stronger over the many years to come!
Warmly,
The Olker Wedding Photo Team
